• Romeo Reads: 3rd annual Community Read Feb. 1-April 20. This year’s read is Call Me Athena: Girl from Detroit by Colby Cedar Smith. Be part of Romeo Reads by reading Call Me Athena and partaking in books discussion­s, educationa­l and entertaini­ng programs and an author visit from Colby Cedar Smith. Books are available for check out from the Romeo District Library or from the SLC coop. You may also purchase signed copies at either branch of the Romeo District Library.

• Baby Storytime 10:3011 a.m. Feb. 6, 13 and 27. Those 0-2 with a caregiver can join in songs, stories, lap bounces and sensory play time. No registrati­on required.

* Toddler Storytime 10:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 7, 14 and 28. For children ages 2-3 and a caregiver. Stories, music, movement and a craft.

• Tuesday Book Group 1:30-2:30 p.m. Feb. 7. Selection is ‘The Forest of Vanishing Stars’ by Kristin Harmel. This group currently meets in the General Meeting room as well as through Zoom. Please call 586-752-0603 for Zoom invitation informatio­n if this your first time attending and if you’re not able to make it in person.

•Teen Anime Club 6-8 p.m. Feb 7. Teens in grades 6-12 who love anime and/or reading manga. Watch anime, do crafts and eat all the Pocky. Snacks provided. Registrati­on not required.

• Snacktivit­y 3-6 p.m. Feb. 8, 15 and 22 Children of all ages welcome to meet at the library for games, crafts, Lego and more. Snacks provided. Drop in.

• Library Services Overview from 2-3 p.m. Feb. 13. Learn about various services, including databases, requests for other library items elsewhere in Michigan, and digital resources such as Consumer Reports -plus a tour of the library. Registrati­on required.

• Tastes Like War: An Author Talk with Grace M. Cho 1-2 p.m. Feb. 16. The author will discuss her memoir ‘Tastes Life War.’

• Puzzle Day 1-4 p.m. Feb. 18 Compete and have fun in building puzzles. Prizes, food, and music. Fun for the whole family. Bring a friend.

Teen Dungeons & Dragons 6-8 p.m. Feb. 14 and 28. Teens in grades 6-12 can join us on the exciting journey into the world of Dungeons & Dragons. No experience is necessary. We will teach you how to play this fun role playing game! Pizza and pop will be provided. For teens in grades 6-12. No registrati­on required.
