MILLER, MICHELLE J.

-

To know Michelle was to love her. Michelle’s journey in life began on August 29, 1974, in Royal Oak, Michigan, a loving daughter of William and Karen (Hernandez) Toth. Growing up in Harrison Township, she was a 1992 L’anse Cruise High School Graduate. Michelle was then off to Grand Valley University where she received her bachelor’s degree. She began a career in Aerospace and worked as a program manager for Triumph Gear System for many years. Michelle was blessed with two beautiful daughters who she loved and cherished. Being a mother was her greatest joy. Michelle was united in marriage to Scott Lawrence on November 14, 2022, in Key West. Michelle understood the value of friendship and treasured every moment shared in their company. She was the light of every party and always looked forward to the warm summer months, boating with her friends. Michelle loved the outdoors and being out in the sun. She enjoyed traveling and looked forward to her next trip. Michelle lived life with purpose and love. She as always quick to laugh, had a contagious smile, was very caring and never judgmental. After a year of a courageous battle with cancer, Michelle, with her loving family by her side, went home to heaven on February 22, 2023, and has now won victory with her Lord and Savior. Though we grieve her passing, we know that Michelle has left us for a better life free from all pain and care. We are all eternally thankful for our Michelle Jean Miller who taught us to be more loving and genuine people by the life she led. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those that she has left behind. Michelle is the loving wife of Scott; cherished mother of Lucy Maren and Lexie Jean Miller; beloved daughter of William and Karen Toth; dearest sister of Amy (Travis) Arnold and William (Audra) Toth; former wife and friend of Edward Miller; beloved aunt of Jessie, Erika, Eden, Ryker, Jack, Oliver, Tommy, and Waylen; and dear friend to many. Visitation will be held at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be addressed to Edward Miller for their daughter’s college funds.
