Center Line Public Library

• Baby Play Group 11 a.m. Dec. 19 for children ages 0-24 months featuring twenty minutes of stories and songs followed by open-ended play time.

Chesterfie­ld Township Library

• Online learning tools for young children up to adult learners are available with a free library card at chelibrary.org. Residents may also apply for a free card at the website.

• Online streaming and download services are also available at chelibrary.org, including Hoopla, Libby by OverDrive and cloudLibra­ry for e-books and audiobooks, TV shows, music and more. The library is located at 50560Patri­cia Dr., Chesterfie­ld Township.

Clinton-Macomb Public Library

• The library is offering various virtual events that all require registrati­on, which can be done at cmpl. libnet.info/events. A valid email address is required to access the events.

• CMPL is still offering usual book discussion groups and trivia nights online each month. Register for events online at cmpl.libnet.info/ events or call 586-2265000.

Eastpointe Public Library

• The library has an ongoing canned food drive. Non-perishable foods can be dropped off during open hours.

• The library is open to the public and for curbside service and phone reference service during regular hours. Patrons can place holds on items through the catalog or call to request materials. Harrison Township Public Library

• Knitting and Crochet Circle 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Dec.

19. Knitters and crocheters of all levels are welcome to bring your own project and supplies. Items are donated to charitable organizati­ons and the group is also accepting donations of yarn, fleece or craft store gift cards. Group donates to charitable organizati­ons like Beaumont Little Angels, Project Linus, Compassion Pregnancy and more to give comfort items in times of need. Also accepting donations of Beanie Babies for children that are in need of comfort.

Residents can request materials be delivered to their homes. Request materials, once notified they are ready for pickup, contact the library at 586-329-1261to set up delivery time.

Mount Clemens Public Library

• Adult Drop-In Dungeons and Dragons — Mondays from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

The group of players tell a collective story, guiding heroes through dangerous quests to search for treasure, battle deadly foes, and even carry out daring rescues.

• YA Game Day Friday 2:304:30 p.m. Fridays. It’s been a long week so come visit our library for Friday fun. There will be different games set out every Friday for teens to enjoy.

• Resume review 4-7 p.m. Mondays. Bring your resume to adult services for a resume review. Experts will critique, revise, and make it great for your next job search. Ray Township Library

• Friends of the Library and Historical Society has released its 2024 calendar titled “Road Trip:

A Journey Back” which is available for purchase for $10 at the Ray Township offices and library as well as the Octagon House, Romeo Arts and Archives Center and Washington Museum. Proceeds will benefit the Society in each community where the calendar is sold. For more informatio­n, call 586-749-7130.

Roseville Public Library

Roseville Historical Society meeting at 6 p.m. Dec. 19. Program is “How Christmas was celebrated during World War II.”

Holiday Mysteries 6:30p.m. Dec. 21. This month, we will discuss holiday-themed mysteries. Choose any mystery with a Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or New Year theme.

• Homework Help Tutor.com offers live assistance from tutors.

St. Clair Shores Public Library

• Crafternoo­n 1-4 p.m.

Dec. 28 December 28 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. Craft materials, scissors, glue, tape, markers, and crayons will be available for children to create whatever they can imagine. Children will also be able to fill a box with materials to take home with them. No registrati­on required.

• 1st Stop for Tots will be at 10 a.m. Mondays on the grounds of the Selinksy-Green Farmhouse Museum includes 30minutes of songs, rhymes and a story.
