Disaster preparatio­n

Food distributi­on events

Hope for the Hungry Food Pantry through St. Peter Lutheran Church of Macomb will distribute food from 6-7 p.m. March 7 1-2 p.m. March 21 at 24125 26 Mile Road, Ray Township. This will be a drive-thru event and those getting food are asked to show their driver’s license or state ID card. You should park in a parking spot in the west parking lot and wait to be checked in. Fundraisin­g events

Samaritan House 13th annual Pasta and Chicken Dinner from 5-9 p.m. March 6 at the Palazzo Grande, 54660 Van Dyke, Shelby Township, MI 48315. Event includes entertainm­ent by magician Mark Luedtke and DJ Kenny Love, along with raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing. Tickets are $40for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. George Washington birthday party

The Washington Historical Museum, 58230 Van Dyke Avenue, will be open from 1-4 p.m. Feb. 25. Visitors will be able to tour the museum exhibits and view the 27finalist submission­s in the Ron Gordon Memorial Art Contest. Refreshmen­ts will be served. This event is free, and all are welcome.
