Clinton-Macomb Public Library
• Immigration 101at 6:30p.m. March 19 at the Main Library. Kawkab (Kay) El-moussaoui and Jaimie Lerner from the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, will present an overview of immigration law and policy. To register, call 586-226-5040.
• Taste Test at noon March 23at the Main Library. Children ages 8-12are invited to taste test different chips and trying to guess which branch of chips is which. To register, call 586-226-5030.
•Circuit Masters at 3p.m. March 27 at the South Branch. Children ages 10-12are invited to learn about electricity and circuits with the Leslie Science & Nature Center. To register, call 586- 2265073.

Talia Lakshmi Kolluri at 6:30p.m. March 27‘The What We Fed to the Manticore’ author explores themes of environmentalism, conservation, identity, belonging, loss, and family with resounding heart and deep tenderness. To register, call 586-226-5040.
• Arts & Snacks: Noteboard Craft at 3p.m. March 30at the Main Library. Teens in grade 6-12will create a two-sided noteboard that does double duty with a side for dry erase AND corkboard notes. To register, call 586-226-5030.
• Poetry Contest for children, teens, and adults. In the spring, the Tomlinson Arboretum will host a poetry walk that will feature poems by published authors as well as works from members of the community. One poem will be selected from the contest to represent elementary school, middle school, high school, and adult on the poetry walk. The theme of the poem should be trees or nature.
