their state title win, 20 in the state semifinal, 23 in the quarterfin­al and 28 in their first-ever regional championsh­ip win. Markus was the leading scorer in each game.

“We told Markus — been telling Markus over the last few years — if you’re going to be a Division I guard, you’re going to have to get

vocal,” Henry said. “Well, he was very vocal this year. Talking, leading, telling guys he wanted the ball.”

Both Blackwells are getting offers to play at the next level. Markus has heard from Eastern Kentucky, University of Texas-Arlington, Detroit Mercy, Western Michigan and Incarnate Word. Moses has his choice between Detroit Mercy, Western Michigan and Grand Valley State.

They’re open to teaming back up at the next level if they feel like their future coach wants them both and can continue to utilize their skill sets harmonious­ly the same way Henry does at Lincoln. They expect to commit after their AAU circuit this summer.

Being teammates in college would continue to keep their bond as brothers — not just teammates — tight.

“Burgers and fries,” said Markus, describing his favorite

post-practice meal.

“Hibachi,” Moses said. “Markus probably said burgers and fries.”

Markus said his favorite musician is rapper NBA Youngboy.

“Markus definitely said NBA Youngboy,” said Moses.

Where they disagree, of course, is on the topic of who’s the better shooter.

When asked the question: “Me,” they replied separately.

But it’s not by much, of

course. They’ve both proven to be stars on the floor, and it’s what makes their bond on and off the hardwood so special.

And what’s the best part of having your twin out there with you?

“Just the chemistry on the court,” Moses said. “We always know where each other’s at. It’s like playing with, almost like yourself. Just playing with somebody who’s the same skill level as you.”
