Farmers Market returns to Packard Proving Grounds
Fans of the Shelby Farmers Market will be happy to know it is not only better than ever but returning to the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site every Saturday from May 18 to Oct. 19.
“As we gear up for the new season, we’re thrilled to bring fresh, locally sourced produce and artisanal goods to our community once again,” said Liz Brazeal, event coordinator for the Packard Proving Grounds.
Nestled amidst the historic charm of the Packard Proving Grounds, the market invites visitors to indulge in a feast for the senses, with an abundance of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and family-friendly activities.

Farmers stands are typically set up by 7:30 a.m. ensuring that visitors have
ample time to peruse the local artisans and craftsmen. offerings and engage with Beyond supporting
local businesses, the market serves as a hub for creativityandinnovation,with
vendors showcasing their unique talents and wares.
In addition to the delectable array of goods Shelby Farmers Market will play host to a series of special events and activities throughout the season, catering to all ages and interests.
The market is open until 2 p.m.
Those who attend will find a diverse array of locally-sourced delights, including fruits, vegetables, eggs, honey, maple syrup, bread, and baked goods sourced directly from passionate local farmers and vendors.
