Kazuto Takahashi, 102, of Kahului, Maui, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2019 under the passionate care of Hospice Maui and loving family by his side.

Services honoring Mr. Takahashi will be held on July 22, 2019 at Nakamura Mortuary, with visitation at 10:00am, and service at 11:00am. Mr. Takahashi will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.

Kazuto was born on January 9, 1917 to Mr. Kinsuke and Mrs. Tome Takahashi in Paia, HI. Kazuto worked, and retired, as a Power Plant Operator for HC&S. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed taking his children to their ball games, Ulua fishing, talking story, and going to Vegas, but most importantl­y, he loved to spend time with his friends and loved ones.

Kazuto is pre-deceased by his loving wife, Yukie Takahashi.

Kazuto Takahashi leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Roy (Yasmin) Takahashi, Gilbert Takahashi, Gordon (Judy) Takahashi, Wayne (Sharon) Takahashi, and Aaron Takahashi; daughter, Annette (Bob) Fulton; brothers, Isamu Takahashi, Hideo Takahashi, and Joe Takahashi; sisters, Chieko Aoki, and Miyoko Omuro: 11 grandchild­ren; and 14 great grandchild­ren.
