Sea Talk at Maui Ocean Center
“Learning How to Monitor ‘Opihi in a Cultural Reserve” is the title of the next Sea Talk at Maui Ocean Center. It will take place in the Sphere from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Dean Tokishi from Kaho‘olawe Island Reserve Commission will offer a brief overview of the history of Kahoolawe and the current monitoring benefits it can provide as a reserve in learning more about the endemic opihi.
