Josefina Aliangan Lucena, 69, of Dallas, Texas formally from Lahaina, Maui passed away on June 16, 2020 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Plano. She was born to Cresencio and Maria SalomeTorr­es Aliangan on December 29, 1950 in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippine­s. After 30+ years, she retired from Westin Maui where she worked as a room attendant. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crafting.

Josefina is predecease­d by her husband, Primo Erice Lucena Jr.; survived by her daughters, Diane Kristine Lucena, Emmie Joyce Lucena (Joshua) Coleman, and Britney Rose Lucena. She had three brothers, Manuel (Nancy) Aliangan, Pacifico (Luzviminda – deceased) Aliangan, Benjamin – deceased (Rowena) Aliangan. She had two sisters, Catalina Aliangan – deceased (Lenico Jr.) Alindayu, and Mariza Aliangan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Nakamura Mortuary from 9 am to 10 am; with service to start at 10 am. She will be laid to rest at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku at 12:30 pm.
