Committee awards eight scholarships
Awardees receive $2,500 each
The Ian Walsh Menehune Mayhem Foundation has announced its 2020 scholarship winners. The IWMMF Scholarship Committee selected eight scholarship awardees. Each of the 2020 IWMMF scholarship recipients will be awarded $2,500 for their college or university expenses:
Lilia Davis, Kamehameha Schools Maui, University of Denver, environmental science; Ameera Waterford, Seabury Hall, Stanford University, bio mechanical engineering; Alayna Evans, Kamehameha Schools Maui, Azusa Pacific University, nursing degree and Hawaiian herbal medicine; Ashley Taoka, Maui High School, University of California San Marcos, business administration; Sasha Kovacic, King Kekaulike High School, Davidson College, premed track to study neuroscience; Keilana Calder, King Kekaulike High School, Colorado College, microbiology and dance; Hailey Bogar, Lahainaluna High School, Northern Arizona University, hotel/restaurant management and marketing; Cecilia Buckingham, King Kekaulike High School, Chapman University, Argyros School of Business.
The 2020 IWMMF scholarships are made possible with the generosity of the Harbaugh Foundation and Scott and Audrey Blum, who alongside the IWMMF believe in the importance of perpetuating academic success and pursuits of knowledge.
