Mrs. Vivian Kenoa Carroll

Melekiola (departed on

November 23, 2020) was born on January 16, 1965 at Maui Memorial Hospital.

She was raised in Honolua

Camp on the west side of

Maui. Growing up in a house being the youngest of 13 children.

She would always talk about how good the old days were. You could tell she loved and missed it. But, she did love when all her children were together. Singing songs, playing games and trying to guess riddles which was the worst, but she did always manage to put a smile on her face. She will always be that mom, or that aunty that got your back. Family was and will always be everything to her. “Never mess with momma and her cubs”.

She is survived and loved by husband Poimana “Pelenato” Melekiola Sr, 11 children: Sons; Soane (Gina) Carroll, Poimana Jr. “Leka” (Adriana); Poufau “Kiola” (Helena); Tonga “Maui” (Mariah) Melekiola; Palovepi Kali. Daughters; Fatafehi “Koleti” (Adam) Fakavai; Helena (Josh) Delos Reyes, Salome “Alama”; Silipa “Nusi”, Pollyanna Melekiola; 1 hanai Daughter; Kele-Jo (Joey) Kahai; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter. 12 siblings; Brothers; (D) Wayne Sr; Robert “Bobby” Jr; Abraham “Abel”; (D) Allen; Warren “Mugsie”; (D) George Carroll. Sisters; JerryBeth DeMello; Lillian Alemeida; Faith Ancog; Rebecca “Iwalani”; Carrie Carroll and Gayle.

From her cubs to their momma. We love and miss you very much and we hope you are dancing in the sky with all our loved ones. Until we meet again.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Ballards Mortuary in Kahului from 6pm-10pm as a Drive-ByService. Please refrain from exiting your vehicle.

Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 10am-11am at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church in Lahaina. Burial to follow at 12pm Puamana Cemetery.

Masks are mandatory and social distancing is followed.
