Latest developmen­ts:

■ State Department of Health on Friday reported 234 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 139 cases on Oahu, 30 on Hawaii island, 25 on Maui, 22 on Kauai and 18 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.

■ There have now been 236,983 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 164,227 on Oahu, 29,587 in Maui County (28,024 on Maui, 937 on Molokai and 626 on Lanai), 25,915 in Hawaii County and 11,493 on Kauai. A total of 5,761 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

■ Four new deaths were reported Friday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,348.

■ Hawaii has reached a 76.6 percent vaccinatio­n rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 80 percent, Kauai County at 72 percent, Maui County at 69 percent and Hawaii County at 68 percent.

■ As of 9 a.m. Friday, there were 12 patients hospitaliz­ed with COVID-19 at Maui Memorial Medical Center – five unvaccinat­ed and seven vaccinated, with one who received a booster shot. There were no patients on a ventilator or in the ICU.
