Fundraiser for the Mohala Hou Foundation takes place on Saturday and Sunday

Slack key master Jeff Peterson, and Tibetan Flautist Nawang Khechog, will perform live in concert at the historic Iao Theater March 24, at 3 p.m.

The concert will be followed by To Vendetti’s film “Tibetan Illusion Destroyer” in 3D, with music by Keola Beamer.

Preceding the concert on March 23rd, there will be Mindfulnes­s presentati­ons and beautiful 3D surfing films. Tom Vendetti’s film kicks off the event which is free to the public at 1 p.m. with his film “Himalayan Prayer for World Peace 3D” followed by Nawang Khechog stage presentati­on on world peace and compassion.

Dr. Gary Greenberg will take the stage at 3 p.m. to do a presentati­on titled “Telescopes, Microscope­s and Human Consciousn­ess followed by a panel discussion hosted by Cindy Paulos. The “Ultimate Wave Tahiti 3D” will be screened at 5:15 p.m. featuring world champion surfer Kelly Slater.

Storm Surfers 3D will be on the big screen at 7 p.m.

The film is about two Australian surfers chasing and surfing giant storm waves with cutting-edge 3D technology and bravura filmmaking. Tickets can be purchased at mauionstag­e.com or at the ticket box office the days of the event.
