Chad Goodfellow named to head Goodfellow Bros Inc.
Chad Goodfellow has been named chief executive officer of Goodfellow Bros Inc., the construction company announced earlier this month.
Goodfellow served as president eight years prior to the appointment and is a fourth-generation owner in the company’s 97-year history.
“This is very humbling for me,” Goodfellow said in a statement. “I love this company and the construction industry. With our outstanding team of dedicated professionals, I believe we have a lot of exciting work to look forward to and a bright future ahead.”
Goodfellow also announced Ed Brown as the new Hawaii division president, Joe Correy as the Oregon division president and Lane Shinnick as the Washington state division president. Brian Gates is the current California division president.
When asked about his vision for the future, Goodfellow focused on bettering the company through embracing the principles of continuous improvement.
“When we improve our company, we improve the industry and make a lasting positive impact,” he said.
Former CEO Steve Goodfellow will maintain his leadership role as chairman of the board of directors, the company said.
“This is a very exciting time for our company,” Steve Goodfellow said. “Chad and his management team have done an outstanding job over the past several years building our mission to be the contractor of choice for our clients, employees and our communities.”
