Mauians take part in na­tion­wide protest

More than 100 Maui County res­i­dents and vis­i­tors protested Thurs­day evening out­side of Queen Ka‘ahu­manu Cen­ter’s park­ing lot along Kaahu­manu Av­enue. The protests come just two days af­ter con­gres­sional Democrats took back con­trol of the U.S. House in midterm elec­tions on a prom­ise to in­ves­ti­gate Don­ald Trump’s ad­min­is­tra­tion and the fir­ing of At­tor­ney Gen­eral Jeff Ses­sions.
