6 PM, 10:01 PM on LIFE Movie: Christ­mas Lost and Found

Af­ter years of blow­ing off fam­ily gath­er­ings, Whit­ney Ken­ni­son (Tiya Sir­car) takes a long-over­due break from her busy job as a New York event plan­ner to spend Christ­mas in Chicago with her Grandma Frances (Diane Ladd). All is go­ing well un­til Whit­ney ac­ci­den­tally throws out a cher­ished box of or­na­ments that are fam­ily heir­looms. Frances de­cides to turn the mishap into a teach­able mo­ment, though, send­ing her grand­daugh­ter on a whirl­wind yule­tide scav­enger hunt to re­cover the lost fam­ily trea­sures. Ed Rut­tle also stars.

6 PM on HBO Movie: Ice­box

Writ­ten and di­rected by Daniel Sawka, this 2018 fea­ture-length adap­ta­tion of a 2016 film short of the same ti­tle re­volves around Os­car (An­thony Gonzalez), a 10-year-old boy from Hon­duras who is forced to flee his na­tive coun­try and seek asy­lum in the United States, only to get trapped in the maze of the U.S. im­mi­gra­tion sys­tem. When he tries to reach an un­cle in Ari­zona, the boy is cap­tured by Bor­der Pa­trol and thrown into the Ice­box, a de­ten­tion cen­ter for im­mi­grant kids.

8 PM on KHNL13.1 Mid­night, Texas

Creek (guest star Sarah Ramos), the mor­tal girl next door who aban­doned her lover Man­fred (Fran­cois Ar­naud) when all the lo­cal oc­cult weird­ness just got too much for a “nor­mal” gal to han­dle, re­turns to Mid­night in the new episode “No More Mr. Nice Kai.” Else­where, Walker (Josh Kelly) the de­mon hunter in­evitably causes fric­tion in the re­la­tion­ship of Joe and Chuy (Ja­son Lewis, Bernardo Sara­cino), while Fiji (Parisa Fitz-Hen­ley) starts down a dark path in or­der to pro­tect Bobo (Dy­lan Bruce).
