Pulehu Road repaving to begin

The repaving of Pulehu Road from the Central Maui Landfill to the Omaopio Road junction begins Tuesday and will last into March, the Department of Public Works Highways Division said.

The work is set for 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, Jan. 29 to Feb. 1, Feb. 12 to 15, and Feb. 26 to March 1.

Crews will be overlaying a hot mix on the highway as part of the Pavement Preservation Section’s work.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and to expect traffic delays due to rotating singlelane traffic control.
