Legislation terminating life has serious consequences

Politicians must seriously consider the consequences the nation faces regarding legislation terminating life.

God hates the shedding of innocent blood. Imagine the voices of the aborted joining “the souls who had been killed because they were faithful to God’s message and to the truth they received. These souls shout in a loud voice ‘Holy and true Lord, how long until you judge the people of the earth and punish them for killing us?’ “(Revelation.)

Abortion is one of Satan’s strategies to thwart God’s good plans. Talk about the most “unplanned” pregnancy from a human perspective. Picture an unmarried, poor, young virgin who got knocked up. That would be Mary, the mother of Jesus. King Herod’s attempt to kill Jesus is the most notorious infanticide case.

Swayed by corrupt lobbyists and a mob of loud obnoxious citizens, political leaders were used as the means to crucify Jesus. Satan thought he won. What really happened is Jesus gave His life freely. This was the plan of salvation from the beginning.

“In Christ, He chose us before the world was made. In His love He chose us to be His holy people — people without blame. Before the world was made, God decided to make us His own children through Jesus Christ. That was what He wanted and what pleased Him.” (Ephesians.)

Consider the part you play in God’s grand plan. “Before I made you in your mother’s womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work.’ “(Jeremiah.)
