Latest developmen­ts:

■ State Department of Health on Sunday reported 107 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 49 cases on Oahu, 12 on Hawaii island, 11 on Kauai, 23 on Maui and 11 residents diagnosed out of state.

■ Sunday's case count does not include any backlogged cases, according to DOH. Additional backlogged cases may be reported over the next week involving testing providers that recently began reporting via the state's electronic laboratory reporting system.

■ There have now been 86,847 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 59,184 on Oahu, 11,596 in Hawaii County, 10,227 in Maui County (9,835 on Maui, 247 on Molokai and 145 on Lanai) and 2,985 on Kauai. A total of 2,855 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

■ Four new deaths were reported Saturday, none on Sunday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,002.

■ Honolulu County is averaging 64 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 1.5 percent, followed by Hawaii County at 21 cases and 2.5 percent, Maui County at 15 cases and 1.4 percent and Kauai County at 15 cases and 2.8 percent.

■ Hawaii has reached a 72.3 percent vaccinatio­n rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 75 percent, Kauai and Hawaii counties at 68 percent and Maui County at 65 percent.
