Seabury boys top Farmers, clinch regular-season crown

-

Bromo Dorn scored 16 points and Sebastian Peterson added 15 points as the Seabury Hall boys basketball team defeated Molokai 58-41 on Saturday at “The Barn” in Hoolehua.

Kobe Garcia chipped in 13 points for the Spartans, who improved to 9-0 in Maui Interscholastic League Division II play.

The weekend series was a showdown between the top teams in the division who both came in undefeated, and the Spartans clinched the regular-season title by taking both matchups — Seabury won Friday night 67-47. The Spartans will be the No. 1 seed for the Central Pacific Bank/MIL D-II tournament, which starts Jan. 31 on Molokai.
