Maui’s Holoholo Bookmobile Spring 2024 schedule for West Maui announced

KAHULUI, Hawaii— Starting Mar. 5, 2024, the Holoholo Bookmobile will be open for service at Lahaina District Court’s parking lot, 1870 Honoapiila­ni Highway, on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; except on state holidays.

The bookmobile also visits Napili Park at 22 Maiha Street, from 1 to 3 p.m. on the following Thursdays: ¯ February 29

¯ March 28

¯ April 25

¯ May 23

The last day for service at Whaler’s Village will be Feb. 27, 2024, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The Holoholo Bookmobile is a full-service public library on wheels. Apply for or renew your Hawaii State Public Library card and access free Wi-Fi while on board. The bookmobile stocks books for all ages, bestseller­s, largetype books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. Any items borrowed from the bookmobile may be returned to any public library.

Bookmobile staff are available to help patrons find and borrow books and other library materials as well as familiariz­e patrons with online resources including eBook downloads, databases, and online learning available through the Hawaii State Public Library System website, librariesh­awaii.org.

The Maui Holoholo Bookmobile supports the lifelong learning needs of the Maui community by providing equal access to library materials and services. Based out of Wailuku Public Library, we nurture a lifelong love of reading and learning and serve as an extension of the Hawaii State Public Library System.
