Eat crab and support Fort Bragg Rotary and the Sports Foundation’s many endeavors

-

The Fort Bragg Rotary Club and Mendocino Coast Sports Foundation presents their annual Crab Feed this Saturday, Jan. 25, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Fort Bragg Fire House, 141 N. Main St. It will feature fresh delicious crab, locally made chowder, salad and bread.

All proceeds from the event go to Fort Bragg Rotary and Mendocino Coast Sports Clubs, whose members work tirelessly in the community to make it a better place for all who live here. This event gives locals and visitors the chance to meet with old friends and make new ones while cracking tasty crab and helping make our community a better place!

Here are a few examples of the local projects that the money raised at this fundraiser has gone to in the past:

• Drive to the east end of Chestnut Street and look at that amazing stadium.

• Go to the park across from the library and look at that playground.

• Go by Redwood Elementary School and look at their garden and kitchen area.

• Stop by Dana Gray Elementary School and ask about the dictionaries every child receives.

• Talk to the many people from this community who have received scholarships for continued education from Rotary.

It is through the Fort Bragg Rotary and the Mendocino Sports Foundation, with hard work and dedication of this community and its members that we are able to better the community we all live in!

There will be many raffle prizes as well as beer and wine for purchase. Plus, Fort Bragg High School’s Interact Club will be having a bake sale! Tickets can be purchased in advance at Harvest Market, Pyorre Insurance or Sport Dodge or by calling 707-964-5915.
