Senior Lunch
Sal’s Bistro at the Redwood Coast Senior Center serves
lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, 490 N. Harold St., Fort Bragg, next to Cotton Auditorium. Open to all: $8. Seniors pay by donation; no senior will be denied a meal if they do not donate. Meals also served Monday and Wednesday at Preston Hall, next to Mendocino Presbyterian Church. Prior day reservations are required for lunch in Mendocino, call 707-964-0443. Meals include vegetables, fruit, two glasses of milk (or buttermilk on request). Subject to change without notice.

Traffic Collision: Jan. 27, 5:04 p.m., Highway 1. Nine firefighters responded to a traffic collision call with injuries for an MTA bus with two persons, one who was injured.
Medical Call: Jan. 31, 11:12 p.m., Carson Hill Road. Four firefighters responded to a medical call for a 29-year-old female who was experiencing general weakness.
Medical Call: Feb. 1, 11:08 p.m., Highway 1, Heritage House. Eight firefighters responded to a call for a 60-year-old male who was experiencing difficulty breathing.
Elk
Traffic: Feb. 1, 3:30p.m., 40foot tube trailer stuck north of Elk in ditch. Driver stated met vehicle going downhill and had to cut turn tight. Right rear duals got stuck in deep ditch. Fire truck pulled trailer out of ditch.
Agency Assist: Jan. 27, 7:57 p.m., Highway 1 at Van Damme State Park. Agency assist for CHP. Canceled prior to response. Alarm: Jan. 28, 8:44a.m., Prairie Way. Commercial fire alarm. False alarm.
Medical Aid: Jan. 28, 10:42 a.m., Main Street. 87-year-old female with chest pain. Patient transported to MCDH via Fort Bragg Ambulance.
Medical Aid: Jan. 28, 11:54 p.m., Vega Drive. 8-year-old male with difficulty breathing. Patient declined transport.
Medical Aid: Jan. 30, 3:03 a.m., Caspar Drive. 88-year-old male bleeding from the head. Patient transported to MCDH via Fort Bragg Ambulance.
Traffic Collision: Feb. 1, 4:02 a.m., Comptche Ukiah Road. Non-injury traffic collision. Performed traffic control until vehicle towed.

Jan. 28: Adam Powell Laflin, 44, of Willits, arrested in Fort Bragg at 3:54p.m., on charges of alleged public intoxication and revocation of probation. Bond set at $10,000. Subject released on Jan. 29.
Jan. 29: Tamara Michelle Case, 29, of Fort Bragg, arrested in Ukiah at 10:32a.m., on charges of alleged battery against a significant other. Bond set at $10,000. Subject released later that day.
Jan. 29: Dean Edward McIntosh, 41, of Albion, arrested at 12:06p.m., on charges of alleged robbery, kidnapping and child neglect. Bond set at $100,000. Subject released on Jan. 31. Jan. 29: Broc Wayne Bouldin, 25, of Fort Bragg, arrested in Ukiah at 1:27p.m., on charges of alleged disobeying of a court order and outstanding warrant. Bond set at $20,000.
Jan. 30: Skylar Joseph Gist, 29, of Mendocino, arrested at 3:24 p.m. in Willits on revocation of probation. Bond set at $5,000. Jan. 31: Ezra Forest Ellis, 42, of Fort Bragg, arrested at 6:59 a.m., on charges of allegedly threatening a crime with intent to do harm, assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, burglary and brandishing a deadly weapon other than a firearm in a threatening manner.
