Winesong! 2020 a virtual event
The Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation presents its first-ever virtual Winesong! event in support of healthcare on the Mendocino Coast. Winesong! 2020 “Until We Meet Again” includes a virtual art and wine gallery, virtual Pinot Noir tastings, an online auction. To top it all off, a live broadcast will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 3 p.m. on YouTube. For more information, visit winesong.org.
Hit & Run Theater Under House Arrest IV
Hit & Run Theater is back with Zoom for another Improv comedy show. “Hit & Run Under House Arrest! IV” will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 from 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Zoom. Willits Center for the Arts
Willits Center for Arts is proud to present Laura Fogg’s Art Quilts and Marjo Wilson’s paintings of Covelo. Both artists excel at their crafts and bring their work to the WCA for residents and people from the surrounding areas. The Willits Center for the Arts is located at 71 E. Meet artist Mariko Irie
Meet September’s featured artist Mariko Irie at Northcoast Artists Gallery on Saturday, Sept. 19 and Monday, Sept. 28, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Mariko has been in numerous solo and group shows, receiving prizes including being selected for the “California Contemporary Art Collection 2017-2018” in Sacramento, and the best award for “Outstanding Visual Artists” at Museum of the Living Artist in San Diego in 2011. Mariko’s paintings are widely represented in collections both public and private throughout
the United States, Canada, England, Germany and Japan. She is represented by the Northcoast Artists Gallery in Fort Bragg and the Highlight Gallery in Mendocino. Her extensive website can be viewed at www. mariko-irie.com.
