Effective Aug. 10, 2021, until rescinded: Order of the Health Officer of Mendocino County mandating the wearing of face coverings in indoor public settings by all persons in response to the surge of COVID-19 and the spread of the Delta Variant.

Tuesdays in the Tent Mendocino Coast Clinics

Tuesdays in the Tent is ongoing weekly. Drivethrou­gh vaccinatio­ns are available from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays at 205 South St., Fort Bragg. Just drive up to the white tent on the north side of the clinic to get your free vaccine. If you’re overdue for your second dose, come on down and they’ll be happy to give it to you. It’s never too late. Anyone who needs a first dose is welcome. No appointmen­t or ID necessary. For more informatio­n, call 707-9641251.

COVID testing and vaccines

The Mendocino Coast Clinics, 205 South St., Fort Bragg, is your one-stopshop for all things COVID, from testing to vaccines! If you have symptoms and want to be tested, call them at 707-964-1251 and they will set up a video visit or have you assessed in your car. If you don’t have symptoms and want to be tested, give a call at 964-1251 and they will get you in Wednesday morning or Thursday afternoon. If those times are not good for you, they will find a time to make it work. The new tests are much more comfortabl­e and are over in seconds >> and the COVID team at the Mendocino Coast Clinics has had a lot of practice giving these tests over the past 15 months! Results are typically available in 48 hours.

Vaccine by Appointmen­t Are you looking for a COVID-19

vaccine? The Adventist Health team has Moderna and the J&J vaccines all available through the Primary Care team located at 721 River Dr., Suite A in Fort Bragg. To make an appointmen­t, call the Adventist Health offices at 707961-4631 and press option 3 to set a time and date available to receive yours.

Free firewood If you need firewood and would be hard-pressed to buy it, you can get it right here on the coast. You will need a truck and a way to split it, though not at the pickup site.
