Edgewater Gallery
Patricia Breed is the February featured artist at Edgewater Gallery. At 6 pm on First Friday, Patricia will describe her techniques and concepts. In her own words: “As an artist, I paint my interpretation of the myths and poetry that gives and has given personal and collective meaning to life. ‘Leap of Faith’ combines the Coastal North American story of Raven bringing light into the darkness and Wolf, an ancient relative, protector, and friend. The leap of faith is longing and gove for the light, symbolized by the moon.” Visit them on First Friday — masks are required. Edgewater Gallery is located at 356 North Main Street in Fort Bragg. For more information, call 707-9644668 or visit www.edgewater-gallery.com.

Northcoast Artists Gallery
Northcoast Artists Gallery is pleased to present their February show featuring former member artist Nicholas Collins. “Emerging 2022” is an allLinocut printmaking exhibit created by nine artists who have been taking zoom classes with Nicholas Collins over the past two years of the pandemic. All the artists are new to the medium and have come from different artistic disciplines. These students are new to relief printing, and this process is helping them move out from this very challenging time in human history. The artists are Suzanne da Rosa, Staci Gonzales, Dora Grinnell, Debra Lennox, Veronica Martin, Robert Spies, John Ward, and Sandra Wortzel. Coinciding with this show is the opening of our remodeled gallery space! We have given the whole gallery a facelift with bamboo floors, and new paint. Come and celebrate our hard work, and enjoy our beautiful new space on First Friday, February 4, from 5-8 pm. See how these improvements highlight our artwork even better. Meet the member artists and the printmakers and enjoy refreshments. The show will run from February 2 thru February 28. Northcoast Artists Gallery is open Wed.-Sun. and Mondays, closed on Tuesday. Gallery hours: 11 AM to 5 PM. 362 N. Main St. Fort Bragg. For more information call 707-964-8266 or email info@northcoastartists.org.
