The Artists’ Co-op of Mendocino will feature the photographs of Shanti Balse during the month of January. A long-time member of the Co-op, visitors may be familiar with Shanti’s images from India, Paris, or from her life on the northern California coast, where she shares a fresh vision of the changes of light, the glow of sunsets or a rising moon, as well as the rare animals thriving at the B Brian Preserve. As the artist states, she has been drawn to photography, especially the things she loves, including the animals that we hope will never be extinct.

The Artists’ Co-op of Mendocino is located at Kasten x Albion Streets in Mendocino, open daily from 11 am to 4 pm; extended hours on January 14th, 4 — 7 pm. Phone 1(707) 937-2217. Masks requested.
