Two months ago, Chamise Cubbison, Mendocino County's Auditor-Controller TreasurerTax Collector, was suspended from her elected office without salary or benefits. I am very upset. I voted for Chamise Cubbison for Auditor-Controller/ Treasurer-Tax Collector in 2022. Chamise Cubbison was elected. She earned 15,286 votes —more than the District Attorney.

The Mendocino Board of Supervisors is taking away our right to have an independent auditor. We voted for Chamise Cubbison, and now she is replaced by a person appointed by the Board. Who will do the independent audits of The Board, the CEO's office, the District Attorney's Offices, and many school districts? Who is watching the money?

The citizens of Mendocino County elected Chamise Cubbison in June 2022. We have a right to be represented by an elected auditor and not someone selected by the Board.

My name is Shelli LaMadrid. I have been searching for ex-girlfriend Kathy LaMadrid since Dec 17, 2004. I am needing some answers from the public on her still missing 19 yrs later. We are still asking for anyone that knows where Kathy's remains can be found to call me directly so we can bring her home. Also something else that's very important is a woodchipper that's gone off a property on Pudding Creek Road . We want to find out if someone bought a woodchipper between the years of Oct 2013 — November 2014. If so I want them to call me direct at 707-969-7737. All tips will be kept confidential.
