“The Commune” (Unrated):

A romantic affair threatens the idealistic cooperativ­e an upscale Copenhagen couple establish in their home. With Ulrich Thomsen, Trine Dyrholm and Fares Fares. Co-written and directed by Thomas Vinterberg. In limited release.

“Long Strange Trip” (Unrated):

How the Grateful Dead became one of the most popular and successful live acts in rock ’n’ roll is explained in this documentar­y, featuring Jerry Garcia, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. Directed by Amir Bar-Lev. (Friday night only in select theaters, then streaming on Amazon, beginning June 2.)

“War Machine” (Unrated):
