It was a bad night for Oakland hip-hop hero GEazy, who was arrested by authorities in Sweden after reportedly being found with cocaine and attacking security guards.

It all started when the rapper, who headlines the Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View on July 29, was “partying in a club after his show Wednesday in Stockholm and was acting belligerent,” according to TMZ.

He reportedly was there with his superstar girlfriend Halsey, who has a Shoreline date on July 27, and rapper Sean Kingston.

It appears that security approached G-Eazy “asking him to calm down, but G-Eazy started to throw punches … striking one guard in the face several times,” sources told TMZ.

He was then detained by police, who reportedly searched himand found cocaine in one of his pockets.

“Our sources say he was taken into custody on suspicion of assault, possession of narcotics and use of narcotics. We’re told he’s still in custody,” TMZ reports.

Also, Halsey reportedly did not leave the incident unscathed. In one video clip from the incident, “Halsey can be heard yelling about getting hit in the face — we’re told she may have been struck by a security guard during the scuffle inside the club,” according to TMZ.

According to People Magazine, the rapper kicked off the European leg of his Beautiful and Damned tour Wednesday in Stockholm, bringing Halsey onstage to perform their hit collaboration “Him & I”; the single includes the lyrics “We do drugs together / F— up clubs together.”

Reported by Access Online, Swedish prosecutor CarlMellberg told Swedish Radio: “I consider him to be under strong suspicion of violence against a public servant.”

According to the site The Blast, he is expected to remain in custody until he can appear before a judge, which could be today.
