Three more Camp Fire vic­tims iden­ti­fied

CHICO » The Butte County Sher­iff’s Of­fice on Wed­nes­day night re­leased the names of three more peo­ple killed in the Camp Fire.

They were iden­ti­fied as 49-year- old Den­nis Clark, 69-year- old Sally Gam­boa and 72-year- old Joy Porter, all of Par­adise.

The three are among 85 killed in the fire, which ig­nited Nov. 8 and was fully con­tained Nov. 25. The sher­iff’s of­fice has ten­ta­tively iden­ti­fied 36 vic­tims and pos­i­tively iden­ti­fied 46 oth­ers.

No hu­man re­mains were found Wed­nes­day.

Also on Wed­nes­day, the num­ber of peo­ple un­ac­counted for fell to 10. Mean­while, the num­ber of peo­ple ac­counted for rose to 3,271.

The Camp Fire con­sumed 153,336 acres and ranks as the most de­struc­tive blaze in Cal­i­for­nia his­tory. Nearly 14,000 homes and more than 4,800 busi­nesses were de­stroyed.
