Three more Camp Fire victims identified
CHICO » The Butte County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday night released the names of three more people killed in the Camp Fire.
They were identified as 49-year- old Dennis Clark, 69-year- old Sally Gamboa and 72-year- old Joy Porter, all of Paradise.
The three are among 85 killed in the fire, which ignited Nov. 8 and was fully contained Nov. 25. The sheriff’s office has tentatively identified 36 victims and positively identified 46 others.
No human remains were found Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday, the number of people unaccounted for fell to 10. Meanwhile, the number of people accounted for rose to 3,271.
The Camp Fire consumed 153,336 acres and ranks as the most destructive blaze in California history. Nearly 14,000 homes and more than 4,800 businesses were destroyed.
