William Stanley Adams passed away on October 26, 2022 of natural causes in the comfort of his own home and surrounded by family. Bill was born on September 21, 1933 in Ashland, Oregon to James Quincy Adams and Betty Lund. Bill attended Ashland High School where he earned the nickname “Stinky'' due to the numerous sports he played (Basketball, Track, and Football). After High school he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as a Cryptologi­cal Radio Analyst in Vietnam, Korea, The Philippine­s, and Europe. Bill married Carolyn Weber in 1957 and raised 2 sons while serving on active duty. He would continue to serve 24 years in the Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1974.

In his retirement, Bill enjoyed playing golf, gardening, tinkering in the garage, and spending time with his family. Bill was well traveled and loved watching sports-His favorite teams included Oregon State, The Golden State Warriors, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Bill was a longtime volunteer of the Second Harvest

Food Bank and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Bill loved Jeopardy, crossword puzzles, corn-on-the-cob (extra salt), popcorn, and ice cream! He truly was one-in-a-million and will be dearly missed.

Bill is survived by his two sons, (Michael and Glenn Adams) five grandchild­ren, (Susan, Brian, Kevin, Kristen, and Justin Adams) his wife, (Lea Adams) and countless extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Campbell United Methodist Church on February 4th, 2023 at 1PM.
