Glenn and Althea Dooley

Family and friends gathered to celebrate Glenn and Althea’s 60th Wedding Anniversary on September 15 at the Dry Creek Grill. Among the guests were the Maid of Honor, Marilyn Evans and Bride’s Maid, Loretta Carter. All made it a very special event.

Glenn and Althea met at San Jose High School in 1948. While they attended San Jose State University Glenn’s Naval Reserve Unit was called to active duty during the Korean Campaign which he served nine months. During this time Glenn and Althea were married on September 16, 1952, at the Trinity Church, San Jose. After serving Glenn returned to San Jose State University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.

Both Glenn and Althea retired respectively in 1995 and 1997.

They’ve resided in Willow Glen for the past 55 years enjoying many travels, cruises and various restaurants.

Many wonderful memories in the last 60 years.
