McKinsey Thorpe, 2B, Archbishop Mitty, senior Thorpe batted a teamhigh .435 to lead the Monarchs to their third consecutiv­e CCS Division II championsh­ip. She also led the team in runs and tied for the team lead in hits. Kacey Zobac, C, Valley Christian, freshman Zobac batted .512 with 20 extra-base hits (11 doubles, four triples, five homers) and 41 RBIs in a remarkable freshman season to earn WCAL MVP honors.
