Georgieva makes her case to be new chief

Kristalina Georgieva, a latecomer to the race to be the next secretarygeneral, told the General Assembly on Monday it is time for the United Nations to remake the case for multilateralism in a challenging time and that she is qualified to do that. A Bulgarian diplomat and former World Bank vice president, she highlighted her ability to “bring people together around solutions we can all support.”
