Teaching ESL in schools has proven track record

-

When I was the principal at two high schools in the East Side Union High School District, I found that (ESL) English as a Second Language was the best way to ensure that students learned English. One of the schools I worked with had students who spoke 42 different languages on campus. Teaching students in a bilingual mode was virtually impossible and not effective. Student must pass tests in English in order to obtain a high school diploma and move on to higher educational technical, career and or academic goals and objectives.
