Dev Davis is best suited to fill Oliverio’s position

Omar Torres (Internal Affairs, Oct. 2) clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about, disparaging District 6 San Jose City Councilman Pierluigi Oliverio and candidate Dev Davis. Oliverio’s record is accomplished on big issues like parks, housing and traffic calming as well as effectiveness in attending to neighborhood details. He has personally assisted our Glenside community over the last eight years on issues related to Los Gatos Creek, foster home mitigation, illegal fireworks, street sign installation and light pole repair. Oliverio has raised a high bar for District 6 responsiveness. That’s why this Willow Glen resident is voting for Dev Davis to replace him as he terms out.
