Melissa Etheridge rips into Angelina Jolie over divorce
Angelina Jolie is not Melissa Etheridge’s favorite person.
Appearing on “Andy Cohen Live” on Tuesday, Etheridge criticized Jolie for divorcing Brad Pitt.
“It breaks my heart that anyone would take something as personal as your marriage and your relationship and your rights to your children and do it as purposefully as I see it’s being done, because there’s a way to be,” said Etheridge.
Etheridge isn’t exactly objective. She sang at Pitt’s wedding to Jennifer Aniston. They’re close enough that she asked him to be a sperm donor, according to E! News.
I imagine she wasn’t the only one.
Etheridge said she lost touch with Pitt when he got together with Jolie.
“I really hope that he reaches back out because there are a lot of us who haven’t seen him in 10 years, and it was hard then,” she said. “We all lost a friend.”
Yes. Maleficent lured the unknowing boy into her dark kingdom and melted the iron gate shut with her heat vision. Or whatever she has.
Jolie has temporary full custody of the estranged couple’s six children. Pitt has agreed to drug and alcohol tests and supervised visits with the kids with a therapist present.
