DON’T MISS: “Genius” — How much do you really know about Albert Einstein? If all you came up with is “E = mc 2,” check out this absorbing 10-episode miniseries starring Geoffrey Rush as the acclaimed physicist. Executive produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, “Genius” tracks Einstein’s rise from humble origins as a rebellious teen (played by Johnny Flynn), through his struggles to be recognized by the establishment, to his global fame as the man who unlocked the mysteries of the cosmos. The solid cast also includes Emily Watson, T.R. Knight and Vincent Kartheiser. 9 p.m. Tuesday, National Geographic Channel.

TUESDAY: The new workplace comedy “Great News” debuts with backto-back episodes. The show follows a cable news producer (Briga Heelan) who is horrified when her overly involved mother (Andrea Martin) lands an internship at her office. 9 p.m., NBC.
WEDNESDAY: As Season 2 of the Italian crime drama “Gomorrah” begins, Pietro has escaped from a prison van, Genny’s boys have been downed in Conte’s ambush, and Ciro has shot Genny. Is the reign of the Savastano clan over in Naples? 10 p.m., Sundance TV.
THURSDAY: On the “MasterChef: An Extra Serving” special, Gordon Ramsay takes a look back at five seasons of the culinary competition. Highlights include some of his favorite moments and meals, silly outtakes and visits from past winners. 8 p.m., Fox.
THURSDAY: In the mood for a hearty stout or a good IPA? The documentary series “Beerland” travels to six cities in search of the best home brewers and exploring beer’s role in shaping a community. 10 p.m, Viceland.
FRIDAY: “Let It Fall: Los Angeles 1982-1992” is a searing documentary from Oscar-winner John Ridley. It examines the key events in the decade leading up to the Los Angeles riots, which began following the “not guilty” verdict in the Rodney King case. 9 p.m., ABC.
SATURDAY: We’ll be treated to some great music and heartfelt speeches during the “2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.” This year, the honorees are Electric Light Orchestra, Joan Baez, Journey, Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur and Yes. 8 p.m., HBO.
