100 block of Echo Drive, 9 p.m. Friday A 19-yearold man allegedly choked another. 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue, 4:35 p.m. Friday Police say a 31year-old woman was caught shopliftin­g. 600 block of East Hamilton Avenue, 1 p.m. Friday According to police, a 34-year-old was caught stealing merchandis­e at a store.

PALO ALTO

50 block of Embarcader­o Road, 4:54 p.m. Sunday Someone reportedly stole a bicycle. A similar incident occurred 35 minutes earlier on the 800 block of El Camino Real. 100 block of Park Avenue, 3 p.m. Sunday Police say someone vandalized a vehicle. Another vehicle was vandalized on the 400 block of Bryant Street the night before. 3800 block of El Camino Real, 9:53 p.m. Saturday Someone broke into a business and stole money. 500 block of High Street, 9:01 a.m. Saturday A car window was smashed and items were stolen. 400 block of West Charleston Road, 4:44 p.m. Friday Two packages was reported stolen. 2600 block of El Camino Real, 9:45 p.m. Friday Police say someone smashed a car window and stole property. Several similar incidents occurred throughout the city earlier in the day.

REDWOOD CITY

Walnut Street, 9:51 p.m. Friday A speaker and charger were reported stolen from a store. Franklin Street, 6:57 p.m. Friday Police say someone stole two bicycles. Beech Street, 4:13 p.m. Friday According to police, a man claimed he was punched in the face by his former girlfriend. El Camino Real, 4:09 p.m. Friday The owner of dogs told police they were stolen. He also stated his dogs were tied up to a pole before they were snatched. The next day, he retrieved them from the SPCA. Franklin Street, 7:19 a.m. Friday Police say someone stole a truck that contained a lot of tools.
