PALO ALTO 1100 block of Hopkins Avenue, June 13:

Police say someone stole a bicycle. Two other similar incidents occurred on the 800 block of University Avenue and the 100 block of El Camino Real within a two-hour period.

100 block of El Camino Real, 9:52 p.m. June 13:

A car window was reported smashed and items were stolen.

3300 block of Alma Street, 10:47 a.m. June 13:

Someone forced entry to a home.

3300 block of East Bayshore Road, midnight June 13:

According to police, someone smashed a car window and stole property.

2100 block of Bryant Street, 3:28 p.m. June 12:

A witness reported to police that a prowler was seen on the property.

2800 block of Park Boulevard, 11:39 a.m. June 9:

Property was stolen after someone gained entry.

FREMONT Logan Drive, June 12:

A resident called police and told them someone is trying to break into the home. Upon arrival, officers entered the home and they noticed a man sitting perfectly still in the backyard on a lawn chair in an attempt to avoid detection, according to police. He was subsequent­ly arrested.

Decoto Road and Cabrillo Court, June 12:

Police say a 28-year-old male was arrested for a vehicle burglary incident.

1500 block of Washington Boulevard, 5:44 a.m. June 12:

The owner of Mission Pizza told police someone stole a safe. Video surveillan­ce captured an older black four-door sedan and a man wearing a black-hood shirt and jeans.

4200block of Peregrine Way, 9:40p.m. June 11:

Residents told police they returned home and were assaulted by others while inside the garage. The intruders took the car keys and stole the black Honda Accord.

800 block of Mowry Avenue, 9:47 a.m. June 11:

According to police, someone called from a residence that a family member was inside the home breaking things and struck another in the head. Upon arrival, police found one person with a severe injury to the head, and then evacuated everyone else. The one causing the disturbanc­e remained inside the apartment and refused to come out. Officers released their canine and the police were able to place that person under arrest.

Irvington High School, June 10:

Someone broke into the school and stole one surveillan­ce camera and disconnect­ed four others.

3200 block of Trafalgar Road, June 9:

A woman and her daughter were walking when they were approached by someone who exited a green vehicle and asked them for directions. That person than pushed the woman to the ground and ripped a gold chain pendant from her neck before fleeing.
