Beyond the bay: Single-story flats at Gala at The Cannery in Davis
Gala by The New Home Company is a collection of 120 single-story, elevator-served flats and will be the final for-sale neighborhood to be built within The Cannery, California’s first farm-to-table new home community in Davis. The neighborhood officially opened an on-site sales gallery in late 2017 while launching its pre-sales program. Following a successful preview period and first release of homes, Gala recently released a new phase of single-story flats to meet growing demand. Pricing for Gala’s single-story homes begins from the mid-$400,000 range.
Designed by Robert Hidey Architects, Gala offers a variety of floor plans featuring 1,191 square feet to 1,995 square feet with two to three bedrooms and two to two-and-a-half bathrooms. Each residence features a private deck and offers direct access to a ground-floor garage. Forty-eight of the flats are located within the southwestern part of the community along The Cannery Loop Trail. The remaining flats are found in the southern part of The Cannery, near The Amphitheatre and Market Park.
