Beyond the bay: Experience Davis living at The Cannery
The Cannery, California’s first farmto-table new home community in the heart of Davis, is pleased to announce that three of its first five initial neighborhoods — Heirloom by The New Home Company, Persimmon by Shea Homes and Beech by Cal-Atlantic Homes — have sold out. As The Cannery finishes work on these three neighborhoods, it has also announced that ground has been broken and pre-sales have begun for a new collection of residences — the single-story flats at Gala by The New Home Company. With two neighborhoods showcasing model homes now open daily and new ones on the way, The Cannery’s varied architectural styles, as well as community amenities, continue to draw attention from a wide range of buyers across California.
Tilton by Shea Homes is comprised of 76 Cottages with up to four bedrooms and three bathrooms, ranging from 1,719 square feet to 3,024 square feet. Tilton is priced from the mid-$700,000 range.
Sage by The New Home Company is a neighborhood of 73 Park Homes with up to six bedrooms and five bathrooms, ranging from 1,943 square feet to 3,702 square feet. Sage is priced from the mid-$700,000 range.
The last neighborhood to be built at The Cannery, Gala by The New Home Company, offers a variety of floor plans featuring 1,191 square feet to 1,995 square feet with two to three bedrooms and two to two-and-a-half bathrooms. A pre-opening sales campaign has launched out of The Farm House.
The Cannery offers a rare opportunity to live in a way like never before. In addition to residences, The Cannery showcases numerous community amenities including a recreational center called The Ranch House, The Farm House Welcome Center, a 2.5-mile loop trail and the Urban Farm. The Cannery has also been designed with alternative modes of transportation in mind, including 10 miles of bike trails and bicycle storage alcoves in every garage.
As California’s first farm-to-table new home community, The Cannery’s Urban Farm will provide fresh seasonal produce to its residents and to local restaurants and neighbors.
Through a collaborative effort with the Center for Land-Based Learning of Winters, Calif., the Urban Farm will serve as a stateof-the-art example of sustainable urban farming and as an agri-classroom for students and beginning farmers.
Model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the community’s Welcome Center is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on The Cannery, call 530-3876630 or visit www. LiveCanneryDavis.com.
