Federline demands Spears increase child support

Kevin Federline says he can’t keep up with the standard of living that Britney Spears has set for their sons, and he’s filed legal documents asking for a substantial increase in the child support that his exwife provides.

Federline’s attorney says Spears should at least triple the $20,000 monthly support she currently provides, so that the disc jockey and former dancer will be able to close the “extreme disparity” in lifestyles that 12-year-old Sean Preston and 11-year-old Jayden James experience when they go from mom’s home to dad’s.

In the legal filings that were obtained by The Blast, Federline laid out the differences between the two abodes.

He said Spears owns “a 13,264 square foot Neoclassical Italianite villa on 21 acres of land in a gated community with an elevator, a library, a media/game room, 3,500 bottle wine cellar, an additional 1,200 square foot pool house, an orchard, resort-sized pool and spa, lighted tennis court and three-green golf course.”

He, on the other hand, shares a 2,000-square-foot home with his wife, Victoria; their daughters Jordan, 6, and Peyton, 3; his daughter Kori, 15, and son Kaleb, 13, from a previous relationship with Shar Jackson; and his sons with Spears. Federline claimed his home doesn’t have adequate space for his sons to invite friends over for sleepovers.

Additionally, Federline stated that Spears employs private chefs, tutors, caretakers, security and countless household staff. She is also able to jet their sons off on luxury vacations, and provide them with such “toys” as ATVs, various video game systems, iPads and laptops.

Federline said he is no longer able to work as a backup dancer, and that he earns about $3,000 a month as a DJ. He added that Spears has been unwilling to divulge her yearly income, which Forbes has placed at $34 million.

Spears and Federline married in 2004 and divorced in 2007. They agreed on child support in 2008, but Federline, 40, says his earning potential has changed since then, when he was making six figures as a backup dancer and DJ.

“I am no longer able to perform as a dancer due to my age, and I have not been as successful in putting out new music as I was in 2008,” he said.
