Yvonne Mary Kuzinich (Piazza)

November 19, 1933 – June 18, 2018 Resident of Las Vegas, NV

It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mother Yvonne, who went to be with our Lord at the age of 84 in Las Vegas, NV.

Yvonne was a native of San Jose, CA. Beloved Wife of the late Joseph Kuzinich. Loving Mother of Joanne Kuzinich, Yvonne Kuzinich Jr (Wife Tammy Joslin), Toni Ann Kuzinich deceased. Loving Sister-in-law to Ann Scolari and Josephine Kuzinich. Loving Sister to deceased brothers, Sam, Babby and Peter Piazza. Loving aunt to numerous nephews and nieces of which she loved dearly.

Yvonne was a member of St. Victor’s Church, and Mothers Guild along with teaching CCD. She was a long time parishioner and dedicated member of Holy Cross Church. She was involved in many groups there such as ICF Br#4, Trabia Club, Mothers Guild (Past President), CCD teacher and sang in the church choir. Yvonne along with her husband Joseph was fundamental in fundraising for the Lord with the annual Holy Cross Festival in charge of the cannoli booth.

Yvonne was loved and adored by all. She was known for her deep sense of family, contagious laugh, her loving heart, generosity, kindness and her delicious meals and homemade Italian cookies

Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at LIMA-CAMPAGNAALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. Second Street, San Jose, with Visitation beginning at 12:00 P.M. Funeral Mass Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Church, 580 Jackson Street, San Jose. Entombment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
