Making dreams come true with Wish Book 2018
Bay Area News Group in conjunction with its readers and advertisers is working hard to make a difference in our local communities by establishing the Wish Book program and publication.
We have been writing Wish Book stories since 1983, and readers like you along with our advertisers have generously donated more than $9 million to make individuals’ wishes, large and small, come true. In 2017, donors strengthened their commitment by giving $501,059.
We are committed to serving our community. We live, work and raise our children here, and consider Wish Book one of the most meaningful projects we do each year. We trust this year’s stories will inspire you to get involved, too.
Contributions of all sizes are welcome and are tax-deductible. All costs of the Wish Book program are paid for by Bay Area News Group, which means 100 percent of your donation goes directly to helping people in our community.
Please read about the people in the 2018 Wish Book beginning with the preview section and continuing throughout the holiday season. Your donations will help make our community a better place to live and thrive. The Mercury News is proud to come together with the community once again to improve the lives of Bay Area residents.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
