There are an endless number of reasons why this year’s crop of Top Workplaces are desirable enterprises to work at, from company perks to recent benchmark events. Perhaps one of the things that makes 2018’s winners so impressive is their extreme generosity when it comes to giving back to their communities.
To celebrate community advocacy, the multifamily real estate company Alliance Residential holds its Alliance Day of Giving campaign each November to encourage its associates to give back in their communities.
Avidbank’s end-of-year Second Harvest Food Bank program donated an impressive $13,048 in 2017. They also partnered with Peninsula Bridge, a local nonprofit that supports and prepares low-income students for success in high school and college.
