Heading to the Delta this summer? Here are nine sensationa­l events and festivals to add to your calendar.

Stockton Beer Week:

Movies at the Point: Head for the Weber Point Event Center this summer with blankets, chairs and a picnic for this Movies at Dusk series, which includes a screening of “Captain Underpants” on July 13, “Despicable Me 3” on Aug. 10, “Jumanji” on Sept. 14 and “Coco” on Oct. 12. Taste of the Delta: The 17th annual food and wine festival showcases the restaurant­s, breweries and wineries of the California Delta region. Stockton Buddhist Temple Japanese Food Festival & Obon Odori: The festivitie­s include Japanese food, flower arrangemen­ts, martial arts and a variety of entertainm­ent. Stockmarke­t: This unique street festival began in 2015 with a mixture of food vendors, artists, makers and live music. This year it will be at its new location at Martin Luther King Plaza, on East Oak Street in downtown Stockton. This season’s events run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 11 and Oct. 13. Free. Stockton-Con: Get your geek on at Stockton’s own version of Comic-Con. Stockton-Con focuses on San Joaquin Valley artists involved in comics and graphic novels, video games, anime, manga and more. Stockton Labor Day Pow Wow: The indigenous peoples of the West will share their culture Aug. 31-Sept. 2 with the 37th annual Pow Wow, which showcases songs, dances, drums, arts and crafts, food and more.
