Hey, Ben. Where’s Lindsay?
It’s just a matter of time before Ben Affleck’s divorce from Jennifer Garner is finalized.
She just needs a few reassurances that is life is in order, and Affleck is reportedly eager to make their split all legal and move forward.
But has the “Justice League” star also moved on from girlfriend Lindsay Shookus? TMZ has reported that a casually dressed Affleck dined at Nobu Malibu on Thursday and his dinner companion was not “Saturday Night Live” producer Shookus.
Rather, it was veterinary technician Shauna Sexton, who was the May 2018 Playboy Playmate.
Affleck spent his 46th birthday Wednesday with his three kids — Violet, 12; Seraphina, 9; and son Samuel, 6 — and the following evening with Sexton.
According to TMZ, he and Shookus haven’t been photographed together in more than a month. A moving van had been spotted earlier this month at Affleck’s $19 million Pacific Palisades mansion, although it was unclear if it was for hauling things in or out of the home.
TMZ said it reached out Affleck to check if he had indeed broken up with Shookus. No response yet.
The pair began dating in 2017, shortly after Affleck moved out of the guesthouse of the Los Angeles home he shared with Garner.
Garner and Affleck announced their split 2015, and Garner filed for divorce last year.
The Los Angeles Superior Court recently warned Affleck and Garner to finalize their divorce or run the risk of having to start over on the proceedings. Garner reportedly wants assurance that Affleck is clean and sober enough to take care of their children before she signs off on the divorce.
A Us Weekly source said Affleck is ready to sign off on the divorce. “Ben would have liked to have finished this and closed the books sooner,” the source said.
But Garner is willing to wait things out.
“Jen just isn’t willing to settle the custody issues until she’s 100 percent certain that he’s clean,” added the source.
